A Convolution of Worlds: The Aldara Project

In the places between worlds, in the spaces where that which is... is not

there exists an in between place that is neither here nor there, neither

up nor down, neither left nor right nor east nor west nor north nor

south. The methods for reaching it are long lost to the mortal races, if

they ever possessed it in the first place. Yet this in between place, this

joining place... this nexus where all worlds meet but are not, this

convolution of worlds was not devoid of life. Spirits come and go,

observers of all the universes and behind them they leave stories.

Histories, legends, tales written by mortal hands, their own observations

of mortal events, maps, sketches, landscapes, and portraits. They

record everything and each discovery of each new world. They add it to

the project, the collection of knowledge, a true record of all there is to

know and all there is to believe. It had no name, simply a word: Aldara.

Some places define "Aldara" as knowledge, others Truth, still others as

Wisdom. Aldara means all of them yet none of them, melding them all

together into a coherent existence... an existence whose record is

called: The Aldara Project.
